First, the relative humidity requirements of the piano for its use environment

The relative humidity of the piano use environment should be between 40% and 70%, preferably 50% to 60%. If the relative humidity is less than 40%, the environment is too dry for the piano; If the relative humidity is greater than 70%, the environment is too humid for the piano. Keeping the relative humidity of the use environment at 40%-70% is the most basic condition to ensure the normal use of the piano. Piano users should place a hygrometer near the piano and often observe the humidity data in order to adjust the humidity condition around the piano and meet the requirements of the use of the piano.

Second, the guitar on its use of the relative humidity requirements

The guitar is exposed to extreme humidity in the range of 85% to 100%, the body begins to swell, the sound quality decreases, the playing feel deteriorates, the sound beam on the back board may deglue due to wood expansion, and the string pitch will become very high in a short time. All the bonded parts will start to loosen. The beam on the panel and back will come loose, the bridge will be pulled down from the panel, and the guitar panel will expand and bulge in front and back of the bridge. If the glue is not strong enough, then the guitar will not play. 14 points on the fingerboard will be raised. The inside of a guitar can get moldy. A guitar can disintegrate itself.

Guitars are exposed to a medium to high humidity range of 70%-85%, and the string pitch may be slightly higher. The swelling of the panel and back panel affects the playing feel. Fingerboard 14 starts to bulge. After a few months, the guitar began to smell moldy.

Guitars are exposed to a relatively suitable humidity range of 55%-70%, and moderate exposure to this environment will not be a big problem. If exposed for a long time, the panel and back may bulge slightly more than normal. The feel of playing will be affected.
